Quotes from the abyss of my mind.

Mom, "Battle Casserole."
That same meal,
"Mom, you always tell us that the food you make is good and here you are telling us that you know this meal is bad?"
Mom, "Yep, I will not try to fool you... this is a terrible dinner, but we need to be thankful for it anyway."
That same meal...

"Be responsible for your own encouragement." - Hey I was thiniking this last night! I was watching tv winding down before bed like normal, and then thought.. wow I have been slacking, I should be a "Self Feeder." and then I picked up my devotion book sitting next to the bed, and then I got to thinking about this - "Spiritual growth comes when you pick up this book (the Bible) and read it." - WOW! So then instead of just muting the tv I turned it off, and read my bible, I like your thoughts! and here is one I have been running thru my head today :) Ephesians 4:15- 16 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Love you!
That is a beautiful story Leslie! Thanks for sharing it!!!!! You have a GREAT day too!!
"I'm a big girl who's going to take you down!" Ahh, words to live by. ;-) What a cutie.
I want to be a self feeder who feeds others...basically, there should be a lot of eating going on, so we can all run the race. I always picture myself running and encouragingly slapping the butts of those who pass me. HA!!! Eating and butt slapping in community!!! those are my abysses, er, yeah
butt, I don't want to be a bottom feeder.. hahahhaaaaa! I'm so full of feist tonight!
Oh sister! :)! I don't know why you would want to butt slap and eat at the same time though... seems like you would also have a lot of hand washing gong on too? May be that is just it though... the hand washing could be the cleansing part? Or maybe, just maybe, you are taking this analogy a bit too far? It must be your feist!
